For sale is a very nice 2015 Great Plains YP625A-12TR twin-row planter, perfect for efficient planting and fertilizing. This planter has been used on a 220-acre farm and is being sold as the owner is semi-retiring. It features dual ground-driven John Blue piston pumps, allowing for the application of two different fertilizers simultaneously. One pump applies two bands of starter fertilizer on the outside of the twin rows, while the second pump applies in-furrow starter fertilizer. Additional features include floating row cleaners, no-till coulters, and a flow meter for fine-tuning in-furrow fertilizer application. The twin rows are spaced 8” apart with 22” between each twin, making it compatible with a 30” corn head for harvest. The planter plants 12 rows (6 sets of twins) for a 15’ width and is finished with leveling drag chains. The sale also includes an extra set of discs for small grains, corn, and beans, as well as other spare parts. This is a well-maintained, versatile planter ready for another season of reliable use.
