1968 Chevrolet El Camino
1968 Classic Chevy El Camino, a true icon of American muscle cars. This El Camino features a strong 350 Chevy crate motor with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and intake manifold, ensuring a powerful performance that doesn’t leak any fluids. The car boasts custom chrome wheels with plenty of tread left on the tires and an upgraded analog gauge panel with striking blue lighting. All gauges are fully functional. The interior has been redone, adding a fresh look to the classic cabin. The vehicle has front disc brakes and power steering, making it a joy to drive with a modern feel. The exhaust note is fantastic, adding to the car’s muscle car appeal. Upgraded modern LED headlamps are installed, with the high beams available in a box. The El Camino drives exceptionally straight, holding its line even with hands off the wheel.
However, it’s not without its flaws. The acrylic paint looks great from a distance but is peeling in a few places. There is very minor rust, as expected from a California car originally purchased in Pasadena. The heater and defroster are not functional, and while the passenger rear taillight works, it does not function for braking or signaling. I’ve owned this classic for 1.5 years but am looking to sell it to purchase a modern car for my 16-year-old son. I am the third owner, and serious offers are considered for this well-maintained, classic vehicle with tons of potential.
