1955 Ford F-100 Custom – Frame-Off Restoration – Ford 302 V8 – C6 Automatic

This 1955 Ford F-100 Custom received a frame-off restoration while retaining its original body and frame. It is finished in custom Candy Pearl Lamborghini Yellow PPG paint with a custom gray full-leather interior.

Power comes from a Ford 302 small-block V8 featuring forged pistons and rods, a balanced .030-over build, a mid-range RV cam, a high-pressure oil pump, and an electric fuel pump. The engine is paired with a Ford C6 automatic transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end with an Auburn locker and 3.70 Richmond gears.

The truck features a Mustang II front end, power steering, a tilt steering wheel, four-wheel power disc brakes, air conditioning, and power windows. Schmitt wheels measure 19 inches in front and 20 inches in the rear and are wrapped in Firestone Indy 500 tires.
