Description
1964 Ford Falcon | 650 HP Stroker Cleveland | NHRA-Certified 8.50 Cage | Race-Ready Drag Car
Built to compete and engineered for consistency, this 1964 Ford Falcon is a professionally constructed drag car with an impressive racing pedigree. Originally built by the late Todd Ferguson, this Falcon has been purpose-built for drag racing and has continued to evolve into a highly competitive machine. Combining lightweight construction, proven Ford performance, and premium racing components, it's ready to hit the track and win.
Under the hood is a 385 cubic-inch stroked Ford Cleveland V8 producing approximately 650 horsepower on the dyno. The engine features NASCAR-ported Ford C3 aluminum heads, T&D shaft rockers, Crower roller lifters, an Isky camshaft, Holley XP 1050 Dominator carburetor, 351Y intake manifold, MSD crank trigger ignition, and a Mallory Comp 900 distributor. Power is delivered through a full-race C4 automatic transmission paired with a custom EDGE Racing torque converter with approximately 5,500 RPM stall.
The chassis is equally impressive. The full roll cage has been recently re-certified to 8.50 seconds, while the rear features a legendary Ford 9-inch rear end equipped with 4.22 gears, Mark Williams 40-spline spool and axles, and an aluminum Mark Williams driveshaft. The CalTracs rear suspension, Penske 7500 series shocks, Krites front suspension conversion, and Wilwood front disc brakes provide outstanding traction, stability, and stopping power.
Weight has been reduced with fiberglass front fenders, hood, and bumper, while the car retains its striking Wimbledon White paint, custom graphics, and rear wing. Every detail has been designed for performance, including a fully wired electrical system utilizing circuit breakers and relays instead of traditional fuses, a programmable MSD Grid ignition system, and a CO₂-powered air shifter.
The Falcon launches hard, carries the front wheels, and runs exceptionally straight. Performance speaks for itself, recording a 9.907-second quarter mile at 134 MPH at Firebird Raceway and consistent 6.32-second eighth-mile passes at 108 MPH at Barona.
The cockpit is race-ready with a Kirkey aluminum racing seat, additional padding for comfort, and a fresh 5-point harness certified through December 2027.
Also available is a 2019 Mirage 20-foot enclosed race trailer, complete with generator, air tank, tools, and practice tree, making this a complete turnkey racing package. The seller is offering the car and trailer together for $30,000, or the car separately for $25,000 and the trailer for $7,500.
