1974 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe

This car is beautifully painted in HOUSE OF KOLOR Kandy Gold. It has a lot of metallic in its 6-stage paint and it sparkles like a jewel in the sun. It has tastes of several different color hues and tints that shimmer and glow depending on the light and angles. Worth noting that the front and rear bumpers are fiberglass- they won't ripple or wave or buckle like the rubbery ones are prone to do. 

The Deluxe Interior is perfect like it was in 1974, door panels with carpet and chrome trim are like brand new. Carpet is brand new GM period-correct semi-plush. The frame and underneath was thankfully rust-proofed with Ziebart Protection years ago. 

Engine is numbers-matching 454 but 1974 454's were rather anemic. Not this one.

It has had the internals professionally updated. The heads are much improved for more compression and flow. It now has a Lunati Voodoo Cam that uses modern full roller lifters, chrome-moly push-rods, full roller rocker arms with new heavy duty dual valvesprings and pushrod guide plates. GM upgraded HEI ignition, of course. Holley Street Dominator Intake Manifold (painted Chevy Orange to look factory and topped with a Holley Double Pumper QFT BRAWLER Carburetor. 

 Car is equipped with advanced De Witt Aluminum Radiator specifically designed for Corvettes. I chose the black-powder-coated option designed to look vintage like the factory radiator, rather than the silver aluminum look.

The Holley Intake is painted Chevy Orange for the same reason.

It all pairs up nicely with the  Muncie M21 4-speed and Positraction rear end.

The tires on it are Nitto NT 555 Ultra High Performance. The wheels are 20" in the back and 18" in front and the tires are very low profile. 

This works well with its Gymkhana Suspension (first year this option was available) Air conditioner converted to new 134A, however it doesn't work well.
