This 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I BN7 is a beautifully maintained example with a well-documented history and extensive recent mechanical restoration. Originally bought new in Nebraska, it has had only three owners before the current seller and comes with paperwork supporting its past restoration work, including an older repaint in a Grey-Blue finish (not an original Healey color). The car was purchased from a dealer in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and professionally transported to Great Barrington, MA, where Donovan Motorcar Service performed a comprehensive six-month mechanical restoration. Work included replacing rear axle seals, brake shoes, rear brake hose, brake master cylinder, ignition coil, choke, heater valve, oil pressure hose, generator belt, air cleaners, front brake rotors and calipers, front wheel bearings, valve cover gasket, gearbox and engine mounts, hubs, and installing new front springs. Additional major improvements include tuning the carburetors, overhauling the transmission through a specialist, fitting a new top frame and top, repairing the handbrake assembly and throttle pedal spring, installing a new aluminum radiator, stainless-steel exhaust system, fuel pump, heater box with new seals, and replacing the side curtains. The car received an oil and filter change less than 500 miles ago, and all receipts and invoices are preserved in a detailed history package. Always garaged and carefully cared for, this Healey shows consistent maintenance both from previous owners and under current ownership, making it a strong, well-sorted example with significant mechanical investment already completed.
