2007 Hitachi EX 1800 Shovel

This 2007 Hitachi EX1800 is configured as a hydraulic shovel and was previously used in a mining setting. Although it has not been operational since August 2012, it received significant component updates shortly before being taken out of service. In June 2012, the front engine was replaced along with the rear radiator and left-hand clam cylinder. That same year, the final drives were rebuilt, and the left boom, bucket curl, and leveling cylinders were all serviced. In 2011, both the lifting and stick cylinders were replaced. This unit is part of our surplus equipment inventory, as we no longer have a use for it. Located in northern British Columbia, Canada, the shovel is currently disassembled and comes with two 10.5m³ clam buckets—one of which has been completely rebuilt.
