This 2007 John Deere 1770NT is a 16-row, 30-inch spacing planter with over 40,000 acres on it. It’s in field-ready condition and was recently updated with an in-furrow liquid fertilizer system, which was installed last year and used for just 700 acres of corn. The system includes Totally Tubular brackets and electric pumps, and it was the first time fertilizer had ever been run on the planter. Pneumatic air bags provide down pressure, and the hydraulic hoses down the main frame were replaced last season. It’s equipped with Yetter row cleaners that are aging and will need replacement soon, as well as Schlagel closing wheels with updated bearings. Comes with both soybean and corn seed plates—the corn plates are Pro Max 40 disks with knock-out wheels, used for two seasons. Also included are 16 additional row units on pallets, which could be used as spares or for resale. The seller had considered converting it into a 24-row, 20-inch bean planter. Overall, this is a well-maintained machine that's ready to go. It's being sold due to an upgrade to a new planter with precision hydraulic downforce, but it will still be used this spring for soybean planting if it doesn’t sell.
