This trailer has been amazing, with no issues, but our kids have grown and no longer have interest in camping with us. This is the bunkhouse version (very rare and hard to find). It is perfect for a family of four and is light enough that it can be towed with a small SUV or minivan. This R-Pod Hood River edition is the full-load model, which is lifted for additional ground clearance, with thicker axels and bigger tires that allow for off roading anywhere your vehicle will take you.
The trailer has been very well maintained, always stored with a cover, is in very good condition, no smells, or leaks. We are the second owners as the first owners sold it within six months of purchasing it due to financial reasons. When we bought it in early 2018, it was in brand new condition.
R-Pod trailers are one of the highest selling and most popular trailers on the market. They are very well made and are considered premium quality. The walls of the trailer are thicker, better insulated and much more solid than most other trailers. They are typically sold for equal or higher value than trailers that are much larger as the quality, reputation and the lightweight materials are superior.
This trailer also comes with the R-Dome which is a custom tent specific to these trailers that connects to the outside and provides many options for additional living space. Walls can be taken out for a traditional awning; bug nets can be left up for additional light or the tent walls can be left on for additional private living space. Pictures show all tent walls up.
