My wife and I have been using our 5th wheel as our weekend getaway at the Jersey Shore, placing it on a seasonal site for three months each summer since we bought the unit in 2017. With the shore about 60 miles away from our home (where we keep the camper when not in use on our property), and just a few other camping trips in our area, there is a little less than 1000 miles on the unit. At the beginning of this summer of 2021, we replaced the four tires with brand new tires having a higher load rating than the original tires from the manufacturer. Fully loaded, the camper is considered a 10,000-pound unit, and it tows very well with a standard 2500 gas truck. The trailer has a large refrigerator that works on propane which is the best of both worlds. It has an electric fireplace, and a 42-inch Furron TV, made for campers/boats engineered to tolerate extreme temperatures. It also has two leather Lazy Boy recliners and a very comfortable cloth sofa that converts easily into a comfortable queen bed. The main bedroom also has a queen bed with a two-inch foam top-very comfortable as well. The kitchen has a microwave with a stovetop and an oven with a 5-bottle wine rack above the kitchen countertop. We also upgraded the main living space ceiling vent fan with a unit that can be set for specific temperatures with remote control. The entertainment system has a built-in DVD/CD player, with Bluetooth and many other inputs for a three-zone system-a zone in the main living space with a surround sound and bass driver, a site for the main bedroom, and a zone for exterior speakers. I also added a second battery (in series) to provide better battery life when dry camping. The four chairs in the dinette have storage under the seat cushions, which comes in handy, but plenty of storage in the kitchen/pantry area and at the back of the camper above the lounge chairs. There is also a large hanging closet in the main bedroom, a large cabinet storage area for folded cloths, 6 large drawers (all drawers in the camper have soft closures and locks in place so they cant open in transit), and a large storage area under the bed (bed lifts up). In the bathroom, in the bottom of the cabinet under the sink, is a laundry chute, so you can place a hamper in the exterior storage space and toss your laundry through the chute for access later-one less thing to worry about in your main living space. The shower is spacious with an upgraded showerhead. The main living space has a ceiling fan, and the AC unit (ducked) is the largest size available. its also a 30 AMP unit, so it will take less to run with a generator. The camper also has a sturdy, folding tailgate that can hold three bikes or a large cooler. Youll also love the window treatment systems with a lighter and darker shade options for improved privacy. The exterior glass is very easy to clean with no trim to worry about and the screens pop out easily for cleaning. I also just upgraded the propane/Co2 alarm which needs to be updated every four years. The unit also has two automatic awnings and heated tanks for cold camping. The two-sink island is very functional for smaller and larger dinners. You can also place a TV on the top of the dresser in the main bedroom or mount one on the wall with electric and cable right at the mount site. Another great future of the unit is a water flush for the black tank to help completely clean out this tank after each camper trip. This 5th wheel is in very good, like new, condition and I would like to include a decent list of camping accessories such as wheel chucks, tripod to help stabilize the front of the unit, a brand new never used exterior grill and spatula from Forest River with build-in bottle opener, wheel levelers, and other items if interested.
